Self-Training Guideline – Contact Management 

Welcome to Electronic Tenant Solutions self-training guideline. 

This document will provide you with a recommended step-by-step process of learning the Contact Management Application.

Application Overview: This application is where you will store, manage and track tenant/vendor/staff information and their ETS application access. 

Step 1 – Setting Up the User Template Preference

The first step, prior to uploading or adding any Users is to generate specific User Templates for each User Type; Tenant, Staff, Vendor and Other. This is important as these Permissions and Settings are pulled into the Add User and User Import sections.

Step 2 – Uploading Contacts

The second step is to make sure you have populated all of your Users (Tenants, Staff, Vendors, etc) into the Application.This can be done in two ways; with either a bulk import of contacts or by adding them individually.

Step 3 – Full Training Tutorial

After the Users have been added to the User List Page, the second step is to watch the Full Training Video on the Contact Management Application (21:11)

At the bottom of the Contact Management Help page, there are several other help materials designed to assist you;

  • “Help Document – Contact Management App” – This document will provide a breakdown of each section with explanations, step by step details and in-depth screen shots depicting how to use the Application.

  • “Tenant Education Memo: How to Update Contact Info and Manage Notifications” This is the same document listed in the Tenant’s Help Center which will explain how to manage/edit their contact information and manage their notifications for that environment.
