If a Designee is deleted from the Task Manager Application, the PM Tasks assigned to that Designee will become unassigned. All data from PM Tasks that were Completed by the Designee will be saved. PM Tasks can be reassigned, either from the Job List or from the Task List.

The first step is to make sure the new Designee you want to reassign the PM Tasks to is on your Designee List in the Task Manager App. To learn how to add a new Designee, view the Video Tutorial: Add Designees & Setup Mobile Task Manager Access or Quick Guide How to Add Maintenance Center or Mobile Task Manager Access

After adding any new Designees, go to the Preventative Maintenance App and navigate to the Jobs List Page, if you want to add a Designee to all Tasks for one or more Jobs. After navigating to the Jobs List page, use the Filters on the left to narrow your list. There is a Filter for “Show Only Unassigned” under the Designee tab which will allow you to view all Jobs that are currently unassigned. Once you have narrowed the Jobs List using the filters, click Bulk Update in the left-hand column. Then click the checkbox next to each Job you would like to have assigned to a new Designee.

When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page to the Edit Checked drop down and select "Assign Jobs..." and then click “Edit.” Next, begin typing the name of in the Designee and click on the Designee from the list you would like to assign. More than one Designee can be assigned to each Task. Once you have added the new Designee/s, click Update. There will also be an option to remove any currently assigned Designees. If you want to keep any currently Assigned Designees, leave the box unchecked. When finished, click Update.

If you would like to assign/reassign Designees to specific Tasks, instead of Jobs, navigate to the Task List page, use the filters on the left to narrow your search, and use Bulk Update to select a Designee. There is also filter for Unassigned Tasks under the Designee section on the left which will allow you to view all Unassigned PM Tasks.
