To access the Communications Calendar, click Calendar from the Communications tab dropdown menu on the homepage of the Maintenance Center.
Calendar View
The Communications Calendar provides a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly view of your Communications.
The Calendar will default to the current month and year. Use the dropdown menu at the top of the left-hand column to navigate to a different month and year.
The arrows in the blue date bar at the top of the Calendar can be used to go forward or back one month at a time, if needed.
Navigating the Calendar
Each type of Communication on the Calendar is color coded. Emails are blue, Text messages are purple, Calendar Events are green, and Banners are orange. Past events will be shown in gray.
High Priority Events will be marked with a red dot.
Holidays, set up in the application Preferences, will be shown in red.
Drag and Drop Feature
To see additional information about a Communication on the Calendar, scroll over it to see the Subject/Title, Building/s, Message preview, and Type of Communication.
Communications and Events can be moved from one day to another by dragging and dropping the Communication. Simply click on the Communication or Event and drag it to another day.
A pop-up will appear at the top of the Calendar prompting you to Save or Cancel the change.
Date/Event Expansion
If a date on the Calendar has multiple Communications, you may see a number with arrows in the top right hand corner of the date box. Clicking on the number will expand the box to show all of the Communications scheduled for that date.
To view any Communication or Event on the Calendar, simply click on the Communication. A pop-up box will open with options to Disable, View or Edit the Communication.
Calendar Filters
The Communications Calendar has a full set of Filters on the left-hand side that can be selected to show the specific Communications you want to see. Filters include Building, Groups, Company, Communication Type, status of the Communication, Category, and who created it.
After choosing a Filter, click the green refresh icon. If Filters are chosen from multiple categories, click Update Filters at the top of the Filters list to apply multiple Filters at once.
To clear all Filters and view all Communications on the Calendar, click Show All Communications.
