ETS Connect!

This feature allows users to reply to text messages from the Communications Application and enables one-on-one messaging with any user.

ETS Connect allows tenants and other users to respond to text messages sent from the Communications Application. Property Management staff can open a one-on-one conversation with individual users.

To activate ETS Connect please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Preferences of the Contact Management application.

    1. If you have access to multiple buildings, first select a building on the left.

  2. Scroll down to ETS Connect.

  3. Select the checkbox next to "Allow users to reply to ETS Connect messages."

  4. Optional: Enter an email for users who need to receive an email notification for every reply received.

  5. Click Submit to update the Preferences.

Once ETS Connect has been enabled for one or more buildings, users will be able to reply to messages sent by the property management team. This can be in response to a text message sent from the Communications Application, or from a one-on-one message sent by a Maintenance Center user.

When a user replies to a message, a red badge will show up in the Contact management dropdown menu and blue menu bar, next to ETS Connect. Click to open the Message List. New messages will be highlighted until opened by a Maintenance Center user. The filters on the left side of the page can be used to narrow the message list by read or unread messages, date range, and/or building.

To respond to a message from a user, click on the user in the list to open the User Details. The ETS Connect message box will pop up on the right. Type your message in the field at the bottom of the box, and click return to send.

To open a one-on-one conversation with an individual user, scroll or search to find the user in the list, then click to open the user details. On the User Details page, click the yellow ETS Connect button on the left to open the ETS Connect message box.

Users are able to respond directly to messages sent through the Communications application. Start by creating a new communication and select Text message on the left side, then click into the To: field to select your recipients. Then create your message and click Submit at the bottom of the screen to send it.

Recipients will be able to respond to the text, responses are shown in the ETS Connect tab in the Contact Management application. Further one-on-one communication can be continued through the ETS Connect messenger in the Contact Details page.
