PM Task Bulk Update - Maintenance Center

The PM Task Bulk Update allows users to update task details for multiple tasks at one time. For example, PM Task Bulk Update can be used if an engineer is performing monthly maintenance for 5 Air Handler Units and needs to enter collected data and update the task status to completed. If one of the units has an issue that needs to be addressed, the engineer can bulk update 4 of the 5 Air Handler Unit Tasks and then go into the 5th unit to enter additional notes, flag or defer the task, as needed.

PM Task Bulk Update in the Maintenance Center

Navigate to the Task List page in the Preventative Maintenance Application. Next, use the filters on the left to narrow the list to the Tasks that need to be updated.

Next, click the Bulk Update button in the column on the left.

Click the checkbox next to one or more Tasks from the list that need to be updated.

Scroll to the bottom of the list and select Update Task Details from the dropdown menu.

Next, click Edit Task from the list on the left to update the Task Status, Due Date, Priority, Defer Task, Flag Task, Archive Task, and/or add a Comment to the selected Tasks. When finished, click Update.

Click Edit Collected Data to enter data for the selected Tasks, including Worked Time, Notes, and Custom Field Data. After adding information, click Update to save the Collected Data.

Click Manage Assignment to add or remove Designees from the selected Tasks. This option is only available to Maintenance Center Users.

Please note that tasks may disappear from the list because they no longer match the applied filters. For example if a filter is set to show Open tasks and some of those tasks are Bulk Updated to Completed status, the selected tasks will no longer show in the list because they are no longer in the Open status.
