The "Service Types" section allows you to Create, Manage and Assign Service Types used within the Service Request Application. To access the section click on "Service Types" from the horizontal menu bar or from the tab drop down menu.

Here you will find all Service Types List that have been created for your property. Filter and Search functions can be found at the top and on the left of the list. In the top left you will find a few options;

  • Manage Portfolio's Services - Property Management Staff the ability to Manage Services including adding new Service Types and Disabling any Service Type from the Application

  • Assign Current Designees to active Service Types

  • Print this Service Types List Page

The Service Types List. This list will show the Service Type name, Accounting ID if applicable, Building, any Designee associated with the Service Type and whether it is Active or Inactive.

  • This Service Types List Page can be filtered down by Building, if the Service Type is Active or Inactive and Designee.

  • The ability to "Search" for Service Type or Key word associated with a Service Type.

Manage Portolio's Services
After clicking on the Manage Portfolio's Services, you are then presented with a List of all Active and Inactive Service Types to the left, icons to Edit or Delete the Service Types as well as an area to Add New Portfolio Wide Service Types.

  1. Portfolio Wide Service Types List & Edit/Delete Icons - This is where all Active and Inactive Service types are listed. Active Service types will have a Grey X (meaning that it is currently Active in at least one property), while Inactive Service Types will have a Red X (meaning that it is currently Inactive in ALL properties). The Edit Icon can be clicked if changes need to be made to the Service Type, including Name and Building association. The Delete Icon can only be clicked if it is Red. If the Delete Icon is Grey, then the Service Type needs to be disabled in all properties before deleting.

  2. Add New Portfolio Wide Service Type - This is where new Service Types can be added. Simply add the Type name, mark what building(s) it is associated with and click Submit.

Assign Service Types

When entering the "Assign Service Type" section, if you have multiple properties using this application, you will first select which property's Service Types you'd like to manage. A list of all Active Service Types will then be presented for the specific building selected. Each Service Type will then have a list displaying any Designee associated with it, either Assigned or Email Only.

In order to Assign/Reassign Designees, change the Display Order, or Disable a Service Type - Click on Service Type you'd like to regulate. This will then populate a Service Types Details section that can be modified as needed.

  1. Active Services List - Clicking on the Service Type name from the list to the left will generate the Service Type Details section.

  2. Service Type Details - From the Service Type Details, the Display order can be moved either up or down. This Display Order will determine where the Service Type is on a Request Form filled out by the Tenant's. More regular requests can be moved to the top of the list for convenience while less likely requests can be moved towards the bottom. Additionally, the Service Type Accounting ID can be added here, this will automatically populate in the Billable Item section if a charge pertains to this Service Type.

  3. Designee Actions - Depending on the Service Type that was selected, this area will showcase which Designees have Actions (Assigned, Email Only or No Action) associated. From here, these actions can be changed so Designee's can automatically be informed anytime a request is submitted related to the particular Service Type.

We do offer a Bulk Update feature associated with this section. If any of the changes you have made for one Service Type and its associated Designees is applicable to all the other Service Types within the list, then the Bulk Update feature will copy the change to ALL Active Service Types..
