Updating Service Request Status & Additional Details

Updated over 3 years ago

To update one or more requests, click on Service Requests from the tab drop down menu or from the blue horizontal menu bar from within the application.

The Service Request List provides a full list of all requests within the system. From here you can search, sort, filter, and manage requests for one or more buildings. Use the Search box or Filters on the left to find the Request or Requests you would like to update.

There are three ways to update Service Requests. Quick Edit & Bulk Update let you update from the List page and the Service Request Details Page, which provides full information and history of a request as well as lets you make appropriate updates and notes.

1. Quick Edit: The Quick Edit feature allows you to update multiple request options at once without leaving the Service Request List page. Click the three dots in the first column to open the Quick Edit window. From here you can:

  • Update the Status

  • Add a Communication Note

  • Attach a file, change the Priority, Archive or tag as a Repeat Request

  • Send an update to Assigned Designees, Email Only Designees and/or the Tenant who submitted the request

2. Bulk Update: The third way to update one or more Service Requests is by using the Bulk Update Feature on the Service Request List Page. This feature allows you to update the request Status, Billable Status, mark Repeat Requests, Archive, or update the Assigned Designee for multiple requests at one time. After clicking Bulk Update, checkboxes will appear, allowing you to select the requests you want to manage. Check the box next to one or more requests, then scroll to the bottom and choose an action from the Bulk Update menu. When finished, click Edit to update the selected requests.

Then, click anywhere within the row to open the Service Request Details Page.
